Ty’s accounting journey manifested at an early age when he was inspired by his parent’s own accounting path. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2023 at the University of Alberta and subsequently finished his Master of Accounting degree at the same institution in 2024. Ty successfully wrote the CFE in September 2024 and is now currently working towards completing his CPA articling hours.
Ty has had the opportunity to gain diverse experience across a wide range of industries, including not-for-profits, the hospitality sector, oilfield services, investment holding companies, real estate, and automotive retail. In addition to his corporate work, Ty has also been a part of PAND’s personal tax team since joining the firm in 2023.
In his free time Ty enjoys getting outdoors, spending time with his friends and family, exploring Edmonton’s food scene, downhill skiing, and rock climbing.
